Mercury Stationary square to Saturn
Updated: Apr 3, 2021
November 1 - 6, 2020. Every thought you think becomes part of the collective reality. Every word you speak ripples out and interacts with the thoughts and words of others. Every attitude you carry contributes to our consensus reality.
In traditional astrology: Mercury = communication, thoughts, remembering, our reality construct. In the language of Shamanic Egyptian Astrology, Mercury is Thoth, the creator of language, writing and time.
Saturn = constriction, restriction, focus, structure, the container of reality. Saturn is Sobek, the Old King, the maintainer of the status quo.
During this six-day transit, these two will remain in a square to one another – a challenging relationship. The traditional interpretation is that communication will be constrained and restricted during this time, so watch your words and listen carefully as misunderstandings will happen easily. Very true. And this is also a time to actively participate in a vision of a New Earth Reality. The work of the Great Shift Planets (Jupiter, Pluto, Saturn) is heading toward completion. To make the most of this powerful transit, it is time for each of us to engage in a conscious visioning process.
What kind of world do you want? Approach this question both as an individual and as a member of the greater collective that is Planet Earth. During these six days, actively envision the new reality you want to experience, in your own life and in the world.
Mercury turns direct on November 3. To be acknowledged: yes, this phase includes the US Election Day. And yes, this will be challenging.
