We are now fully in Gemini season. Fluid, fast moving, versatile, and curious, air sign Gemini is third in the zodiac. First comes Aries - the desire to be. In Taurus, this desire for existence is grounded in a physical body. Gemini activates the thinking process.
In the language of Shamanic Egyptian Astrology, Gemini is aligned with The Great Sphinx of Egypt. As with other sacred structures scattered around the world, The Great Sphinx is an Earth Altar. These shamanic structures were created to pull down divine energy from The Great Star Nations and disseminate that information across the surface of the Earth.
Those with Gemini strong in their charts are walking Earth Altars. These individuals are the writers, teachers, and communicators of our world. These people can juggle a lot of balls as they dance through life and, in their shadow, they can become overwhelmed by an onslaught of information that does not seem to connect in any obvious way. At that point, the juggler drops the balls and chaos and confusion reigns.
This is a particularly apt description of our present Gemini period. The Sun joins Mercury and Venus, bringing our Gemini planets to three. Venus is retrograde and in a challenging relationship to mysterious and elusive Neptune. We can expect a continued flood of conflicting ideas which will create a confusing sense of overwhelm. Everyone has their Sacred Point of View and it is up to each of us to find our center while held in the kaleidoscopic energy that characterizes this Gemini season.
