Pisces Full Moon Lunar Eclipse

August 28, 2026:  Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at Pisces 4°54, 12:18 am EDT.

This Full Moon is a Partial Lunar Eclipse and marks the end of a two-week transition into a new phase of experience. For many people, this is an emotionally intense time.

We cannot avoid being affected by our collective experience. The structure of the world is transforming in very granular ways. The discussion can no longer be about whether what is happening is “good” or “bad” but rather how we are going to live our lives in a good way given the tremendous changes to external structures. Astrology can give us awareness and that awareness can assist in our choices.

There are intense transits aligning with this Full Moon. The North Node is conjunct to the Moon while the South Node is conjunct to the Sun and to Mercury. Both polarities are square to Uranus, the planet of shatterings. We often say of Uranus, “expect the unexpected.” And from another perspective, much of what we are experiencing is completely predictable. Consider this.

The Full Moon opposition is also part of a Yod with the Sun/Mercury conjunction quincunx to both Neptune and Pluto. Pluto is square to Chiron and, somewhat ominously, Mars is approaching a square to Saturn. There is danger at this time; take care of yourself and those you love.

The Lunar Eclipse is in Pisces. In Shamanic Egyptian Astrology, Pisces is allied with Sothis, the Greek name for the star Sirius. Sothis symbolizes our connection to other dimensional realities. This Partial Lunar Eclipse is visible over a wide area including North and South America, parts of Europe, and Africa. The new phase being initiated with this eclipse will last from August 28 to February 6.
