Sagittarius is a passionate sign, energetically expansive and emotionally fierce. In Shamanic Egyptian Astrology, this is the goddess Sekhmet, right hand warrior of Ra. In her myth, Sekhmet fiercely punishes humanity for their disobedience. Her ferocity is so intense that it morphs into an insatiable bloodlust.

Sagittarius is the ninth sign on the wheel of the Zodiac and plays a central role in the development of the collective. This fire sign addresses the philosophical underpinnings of society. Those with Sagittarius strong in their personality are interested in the values upon which society is built. These values guide their actions in life. Lying in the shadow is zealotry; where philosophical curiosity hardens into dogma. When dogma is combined with rage to enforce values, great damage can be done.

These issues are up during this Sagittarius Full Moon window. Aries – another warrior sign – remains strong with Eris and Chiron in square to Jupiter and Saturn loosely conjunct to Neptune. The Full Moon Gemini Sun is in a waning conjunction with Uranus. An atmosphere of unease lingers in our daily lives as discordant voices create a background of chaos.
