2026: Welcome to The New

2026 will bring an abundance of creativity, chaos, and the birth of new ideas. Some of these ideas will flourish and some will not. Not all births survive, and not all change brings us experiences we want.

We are coming out of a 7-year period dominated by the elements of earth and water. We will now move into a 7-year period dominated by fire and air. Earth and water move slowly and feel deeply. In contrast, fire and air think and move fast. Inspiration is pulled down from spirit and spills out through a thousand sources.

The first five months of 2026 will feature a waning conjunction between Saturn and Neptune. Two more different energies one cannot find yet here they are – the principle of contraction and the visionary call of magic – in relationship to one another. Neptune will move into a new sign – Aries - on January 26 before falling into exact conjunction with Saturn on February 20. This will be a portal to a new way of being, one that will define us for the next 14 years. In April, Uranus will enter Gemini and the creative chaos of air will dominate the spotlight. By May, the confining impact of the Saturn/Neptune conjunction will be complete and we will find ourselves in a new world.

The most impactful months of 2026 will be February, July, and October. July will be particularly notable, with competing voices loudly contributing to a symphony of creativity that at times will seem to verge on madness. Full-tilt boogie; full steam ahead. Anchor yourself and be prepared to either soak up a rich concoction of creative action or be buffeted by the madness of a world gone wild. Or perhaps both at once.
