Full Moon Lunar Eclipse

May 26, 2021: Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at Sagittarius 5°25’, 7:14 am EDT

Think back to the time between November 30 and December 14, 2020. What were you doing? What was going on in the world around you – family, community, country, planet? That two-week period initiated a phase of experience that is now coming to an end.

New and Full Moons are always important markers and eclipses are especially significant. The period of time between eclipses is a transition between two phases of experience. With this Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse, we are once again entering the birth canal. It is time to release the last six months and prepare ourselves for something new.

Adding to the power of this time is the ongoing Saturn/Uranus square. Saturn is stationary, having turned retrograde on May 23. These two will come into exact square on June 14, shortly after the Gemini New Moon Solar Eclipse on June 10. Mercury is preparing to station and will turn retrograde in Gemini on May 29. Neptune – mysterious Nephthys in the Egyptian pantheon - plays an important role with both these eclipses.

This Blood Full Moon is in Sagittarius – Sekhmet in Shamanic Egyptian Astrology. This is the warrior feminine, the yang aspect of yin energy. Sekhmet is an agent for change, never satisfied with the status quo. She is both compassionate and fierce. She wants us to move forward in our lives so as to manifest our purpose and to contribute to the evolution of Planet Earth.

These are hugely transformative times. Use these next two weeks to assess where you are on your path and commit to any needed change in course.

This total Lunar Eclipse will be visible in Australia, parts of the western US, western South America, and South-East Asia.
