Pisces Full Moon

September 20, 2021: Full Moon at Pisces 28°13’, 7:54 pm EDT.

The Full Moon is always an emotional crescendo and this is particularly true during the Pisces Full Moon. The veils are thin and nothing is as it seems – nor as we want it to be. Hope and fear are intertwined. The virus will end soon – or maybe not. We know what to do - or maybe not. The disagreements of the last year are fading away – or maybe not. Maybe this is all a dream – or a nightmare. What is real, anyway? What – who – can we believe?

Neptune, ruler of Pisces, remains strong in the collective zeitgeist. This outer planet, keeper of dreams and a portal to other worlds, is in a loose alignment with the Full Moon opposition. The Saturn/Uranus square remains as the backdrop. This square is now at 7 degrees separation, as far away from exactitude as it will be this year. During this Full Moon window Venus in Scorpio falls at the midpoint of this square, activating the volatility which is the signature of this time.

Our inner world is rich with dreams and nightmares – harbingers of the future and echoes of the past. Our outer experience is rife with situations that evade resolution; we are not on solid ground. Everything we think we know dissolves before our eyes.

This swirling dissolution provides the opportunity to dream a new vision of reality. What kind of world do you want to live in? What circumstances do you want for your life? During this Full Moon window, take time to dream, both for yourself and your planet. Nourish your dreams – they precede reality and must be given equal attention as our actions. Be still, let this reality slip away and see what lies behind.
