The Equinoxes are an Earth-felt experience of the resolution of duality. Two energies, moving in opposite directions, come briefly into union.
The Northern Hemisphere is moving toward the light and heat of Summer; the 0° Aries point represents the beginning of Spring. The Southern Hemisphere is moving toward the cold and darkness of Winter; 0° Aries is the initiation of Autumn. The Equinox is the point where these opposing movements meet.
