Taurus Lunar Eclipse

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at Taurus 27°14’, November 19, 2021, 3:57 am EST.

If you live in North America, Asia or Australia, this will be an event worth watching. Although technically a partial lunar eclipse (97%), it will be exceptionally deep with just a thin sliver of the moon visible at maximum.

In astrological symbolism, this Lunar Eclipse will bring to the end a period of experience that began on June 10 and will initiate a two-week portal that will complete with a Solar Eclipse on December 4. We will be entering the days outside of time; a period that can be thought of as traveling through a tunnel between two worlds – one we are leaving and one we have not yet entered.

This transition comes at a particularly volatile time. Scorpio season has hammered us hard, bringing a heightened sense of chaos for many people. The passionate intensity of this fiery water sign has been magnified by the ongoing Saturn/Uranus transit, now moving toward it’s third exact square on December 24th. The pressure is building.

This Lunar Eclipse features Mercury aligned with the Sun and opposite the Moon. Jupiter – the principle of expansion – forms a T-square with all three. While this is a challenging aspect, it is also magical. This eclipse, whether you are able to view it directly or not, will provide a powerful opportunity to open to otherworldly communications and receive direct downloads from the natural world. A cosmic event like this rewards those who consciously connect.

Think over the last five months and consider what has happened. What have you learned? What do you want to release? Prepare to be stripped – like a snake shedding its skin – of everything you do not wish to take with you into the next phase of experience (December 4 2021 to April 30 2022).
