Chiron Transitions into Taurus

Chiron is all about our wounds. In a personal chart, Chiron describes our core wound of abandonment. Chiron by transit points to a societal wound that is up for healing.

Chiron stays in a sign for 7 years. Since 2018, Chiron has been transiting Aries, putting the focus on the archetype of the Warrior and the question of Right Action, both within our own lives and also within society. Chiron is now beginning the transition into Taurus.

In the story told by the Wheel of the Zodiac, Taurus takes the emergent life force energy of Aries and grounds it in material form. As Chiron dips into Taurus over the next two months, we will begin to focus on the Taurus wound. On a personal level, our attention will turn to the material – our bodies, possessions, finances. On a collective level, we will become aware of the need for healing on Earth - the environment and planetary economic structures.

In Shamanic Egyptian Astrology, Chiron is allied with Anubis in his soul purpose. During this time when Chiron/Anubis is transitioning between Aries and Taurus, we will hear the call of our soul as we address areas of wounding around societal actions that are destructive to the Earth and observe how our individual response to these situations affects our personal well-being.

All human beings have been wounded. Understanding our wounding is a necessary process on the path to becoming a mature adult. As the Chiron focus shifts from Aries to Taurus, we have the opportunity to embrace our True Selves in practical and grounded ways. The next two months are the first phase of this transition.

Chiron/Anubis will visit Taurus from June 19 until September 17. Chiron/Anubis will move back into Aries until April 14; then firmly into Taurus until 2033/34.
