Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at Sagittarius 15°34’, June 5, 2020 at 3:12 pm EDT.

This Sagittarius Full Moon is dominated by a dramatic misalignment between stated values and manifest action. The present chaotic environment is astrologically described by a waning square between Venus retrograde and Mars, in relationship to Neptune and to the upcoming Sun/Moon opposition. The complicated archetype of The Warrior is taking the lead in this tumultuous situation.

Sagittarius is the sign of the activist, driven by passion for a cause. In the language of Shamanic Egyptian Astrology, Sagittarius is aligned with Sekhmet, the Warrior Goddess. Sekhmet is a catalyst for change. Her keywords are Fierce Compassion, a synthesis of huge love and ferocious determination.

Eclipses come in a series – usually of two, sometimes three. This Full Moon is the first of three eclipses, the sum of which forms a transition between one phase of experience to another. Our current phase began on January 10th with a Lunar Eclipse, a station of Uranus, and the conjunction between Pluto and Saturn. These transits initiated the hugely transformative Great Shift of 2020.

The transition to the next period will begin with the June 5 partial Lunar Eclipse, extend through an annual Solar Eclipse on June 20/21, and end with a partial Lunar Eclipse on July 4/5. Our new phase of experience will extend from July 4/5 to November 29/30.

We stand at the beginning of a tunnel. We know what we are leaving behind, but not what awaits us upon our exit. During this Full Moon window, reflect on your life since January 10. How have you responded to this incredibly challenging time? How have you changed? What do you want to release and what do you want to take with you into this next phase of transformation? Enter this portal between the worlds with conscious intent.
