Full Moon Lunar Eclipse

We stand at the exit of the eclipse portal, ready to step into a new phase of experience.

This Virgo Full Moon will be a Total Lunar Eclipse, visible in Asia, Australia, and North America; the next Total Lunar Eclipse will be January 1, 2029. With this one, the Virgo Moon will be conjunct to the South Node. The Pisces Sun will be aligned with the North Node. Venus, Mars, and retrograde Mercury are also in Pisces. The Saturn/Neptune conjunction is still in effect.

Virgo is the last sign of the first half of the Zodiac Wheel. The focus of this earth sign is the perfection of the individual so that they might better enter into relationship. Pisces is the last sign of the second half of the Wheel. This is about dissolving the collective so something new can be born out of the primordial sea. Virgo reflects the focused clarity of mind; Pisces is the amorphous cloud of emotions. In its shadow, Virgo is judgmental; Pisces is simply confused.

For approximately 2600 years we have been in the Age of Pisces. The concerns of Pisces – spiritual connection, cosmic consciousness, compassion and care - have been at the forefront of our human experience. The shadow of this age is expressed through the shadow of Virgo – intolerance and prejudice. As we step out of the portal between these two eclipses – the Pisces Solar Eclipse of February 17 and this Virgo Lunar Eclipse – reflect on your personal relationship to these two symbolic forces.

What is the nature of your spiritual connection? Do you carry intolerance and prejudice in your heart? Does prejudice block your ability to feel compassion? Can you release judgment and open your heart more fully to those around you and to your world? Take a deep breath and step forward into a new phase.
