June 14, 2026:  New Moon at Gemini 24°03’, 10:54 pm EDT.

On the Wheel of the Zodiac, Gemini introduces the concept of duality. The young child is introduced to the world of ideas and meets the people who express them, starting with their parents. They encounter The Other. It is easy to become overwhelmed in this world. There are so many ideas; so much competition for the truth.

The traditional symbol for Gemini is The Twins. In Greek and Roman myth, this is a reference to Castor and Pollux; brothers born of the same mother but different fathers. Castor’s father is human; Pollux is the son of the god Zeus. Castor will die; Pollux is immortal. Their earthly experiences are not the same.

In Shamanic Egyptian Astrology, Gemini is allied with the Great Sphinx of Giza, half human and half animal. In this association, Gemini individuals are Earth Altars, tasked with receiving information from the Great Star Nations and disseminating it over the surface of Earth. Gemini is creative; creators receive inspiration, refine it, and then share through writing and teaching. They are receivers and transmitters.

The Gemini experience is like looking at the world through a kaleidoscope; we see constant movement, shifting from one shape to another. This can be overwhelming and now – with shattering Uranus moving through Gemini for the next seven years – the Gemini experience is particularly challenging. It is easy to be overwhelmed by competing versions of reality.

This energy affects us all. The best way to thrive is to find and occupy your center. You are the solid base for the conflicting information that flits across your internal screen. During this Dark Moon, meditate on this. Find your center in the storm and get comfortable with it. This place will be your safe haven in the time ahead.
