Mars conjunct Saturn; Jupiter conjunct Pluto

As of this writing, Mars – the God of War; Set to the Egyptians - is on the way to an alignment with Saturn – Sobek, the Old King. Mars activates; Saturn restricts. A simple way of thinking of this is that Mars is activating restriction. The exact conjunction of these two is on March 31 and is the culmination of two weeks of Mars being in active relationship to the planets involved in The Great Shift – Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn.

This conjunction of Mars and Saturn takes place in Aquarius, the sign most associated with the collective. Simple translation – a collective feeling of being restricted and oppressed. And – because it’s Mars – we can expect short tempers and unpredictable behavior in reaction to feelings of restriction and oppression.

The most constructive use of this transit is to spend time envisioning the sort of collective you want and in some way to implement those experiences. Be the change that you want to see.

On April 4, Jupiter (expansion) and Pluto (death/rebirth) align. Horus, the New King, aligns with Osiris, Lord of Regeneration. There will be more deaths, some quite painful. And, this is a turning point. After this transit, we will begin the extended process of adapting to a new reality construct.

2020 is the year of The Great Shift. Our established structures are crumbling. We are in a process of disassembly, which is inherently difficult. However, rebirth always follows death. New life will manifest; we all have the responsibility to participate in its creation. Now is a time to use our tools, stay calm and hold a vision for a future we will build together.
