Mars, the God of War, principle of action, creativity, and manifestation, enters the air sign Gemini from August 20, 2022, until March 23, 2023. Mars will be retrograde in Gemini from October 30, 2022, to January 12, 2023.
In traditional astrology, Venus determines our values, what we want to receive. Mars is the quality of energy that we send out to manifest that which we most value. Mars in Gemini moves fast and can be erratic. This position is easily distracted; the mission sometimes confused by external stimuli. During the time that Mars is retrograde, Mars will be in a challenging relationship (a square) to mysterious and mystical Neptune and to expansive Jupiter, both in Pisces. The third quarter square between Saturn (Sobek) and Uranus (Wadjet) will be strong during Mars’ retrograde period. Venus (Isis) will be in Scorpio and moving into a T-square with Saturn and Uranus. These are difficult and confusing energies, suggesting that this Mars in Gemini period is going to be a wild ride.
