February 17, 2026: New Moon Solar Eclipse at Aquarius 28°49’, 7:01 am EST
We stand on the threshold of a deep, dark tunnel, a portal that links one phase of experience to another. Take a moment to reflect on the last five months. Breathe deeply and prepare to enter the tunnel …
This New Moon is a Solar Eclipse, visible in Antarctica, the tip of South America, and Southeast Africa. It is also the entry into a portal in time, marking the end of a period that began on September 21. We will enter the new phase with a Lunar Eclipse on March 3.
The portal opens with the Sun/Moon conjunction in Aquarius square to unpredictable Uranus. Both Saturn and Neptune have recently entered Aries and are in a waxing conjunction. Venus is in a tight conjunction to the North Node in Pisces.
Over the next two weeks, Saturn will exactly conjunct Neptune at Aries 0°45’ (February 20), Mercury will turn retrograde in Pisces (February 25/26), and Ceres will move through a conjunction to Chiron and Eris, all in Aries. Mars will move through a challenging square to Uranus. The shattering energy of Uranus is strong, and the feeling of unpredictability remains.
Transit by transit, we are slowly leaving behind the Pisces/Virgo polarity that has dominated our planet for the last 2600 years. We are at the dawn of a new wave of collective expression. This new era will teach us how to be a united planet without giving up our individuality or our cultural diversity. This transition will take time – years will melt into decades. The loss of the old will be painful at times but the potential of the new will continue to beckon.
Over the next two weeks, identify anything within you that is grounded in patriarchy, judgment, or intolerance. Use ritual, ceremony, and conscious intention to let go of all you do not want to take with you into the new phase.
