Gemini is like a hummingbird darting from flower to flower, tasting the nectar of life. These natives get bored easily; they catch the essence of what they need to know quickly and can juggle a lot of information. In the language of Shamanic Egyptian Astrology, Gemini is allied with The Sphinx, a synthesis of animal and human into one being. To the ancient Egyptians, The Sphinx was a gigantic altar, drawing down energy from the stars and disseminating it to the Earth. Many sacred structures built by ancient peoples - Stonehenge, Avebury, Machu Pichu, Teotihuacan, Chaco Canyon, etc. – were intended to create a connection between Heaven and Earth. The connection between these structures and the sky has diminished over time. The stars have moved and there is no longer the direct link that once existed. The energy these places now hold, while still powerful, is a shadow of what once existed.
Those with Gemini energy strong in their chart are walking Earth Altars. These individuals are meant to extend their psychic antenna into the heavens while remaining rooted to Earth. Through their antenna, they receive information that they experience as inspiration – ideas, words, and images that are meant to be shared with others. This is the calling of their Soul.
