Uranus Enters Gemini

Uranus is one of the three generational planets, all harbingers of change. Uranian change is unpredictable, sudden, and life changing. These are the accidents that change our lives, the eruptions and explosions that redefine the land, and the ah ha moments that inspire new directions.
Uranus stays in a sign of the Zodiac for approximately seven years. The nature of Uranian change is modified by the sign it is in. Today, Uranus moves firmly into Gemini, the sign that describes the process by which connections are made between bits of information. This air sign moves fast with chaos being the key to creative expression.
In the Egyptian pantheon, Uranus is allied with Wadjet, the Cobra Kundalini Queen. Wadjet breaks through blocks to the free flow of life force energy. While the effect of Wadjet is liberating, it is also shocking. Uranus/Wadjet initiates change that redefines society and changes lives.
Uranus/Wadjet dipped a toe into Gemini for three months from last July to October, giving us a taste of the acceleration to come. With this transition, all three of the generational planets are in new signs: Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries, and now Uranus in Gemini. This gives us a very different experiential backdrop – hugely creative and much brighter, faster, and chaotic. Over the next four years, these three will move in harmony with one another, forming what is sometimes called an Easy Trine. While events have been moving fast in recent times, with this transition we’ve now ratcheted up to a whole new level of “move fast and break things.” Expect a wild ride, sometimes glorious, sometimes frightening, massively creative. Welcome to the New Age.
Uranus moves into Gemini at 8:50 pm EDT on April 25 and will remain in Gemini until May 2033.
