Uranus Stationary Direct

Wadjet - the Cobra Kundalini Queen - dances, writhes, and spins, working her way up our spine while crashing through blocks to the free flow of life force energy. Wadjet is life force. She is sexual, sensual, pushing, probing, insistent and determined. Life force will not be denied, and if something needs to be broken in response to her insistent urging, so be it. Wadjet will break it.

In Shamanic Egyptian Astrology, Wadjet is the ally of Uranus, also known as The Shatterer. With Uranus, expect the unexpected, and that is never truer than when Uranus is stationary. Uranus stays in a sign of the Zodiac for about 7 years; this is the last station of Uranus in the earth sign Taurus. In April, Uranus will move into Gemini until 2033, completing the transition of the three outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) from earth and water signs into the very different energies of air and fire.

Stations of Uranus are always intense and this one falls within the window of the Leo Full Moon (February 1). Chaos is the word when Uranus/Wadjet is involved. At the level of the collective, these are attention grabbing mass events - sometimes destructive, always chaotic. On a personal level, these transits correspond to unexpected events in our own lives, ranging from destructive accidents to a chance meeting with someone who dramatically changes our life forever.

“Drama” - a good by-word for Uranus/Wadjet. This is a life-transforming energy that breaks down old structures and explodes into new realities. Out of the shattering of the old, something new emerges, and life is never the same again.

Uranus/Wadjet will remain stationary from January 31 through February 7, and will turn direct February 3^rd at 9:33 pm EST.
